The Eagle has landed, “One Time”, in Harare

The Filabusi, koGodlwayo omnyama born legendary creative, Afro-Jazz musician, Jeys Marabini, based in Bulawayo is set to display his exhilarating crowd puller performances in Harare as he “meets the people”.

Marabini and his band are already in the capital city, all geared up for their first tour performance at Theatre in the Park in a few hours’ time. The venue is already well organized and welcoming. They have already been welcomed by Star FM, interview held at 11am today where the talk was on the purpose of the Harare tour, thereafter he had a lunch date with Fantan Dweet who expressed so much excitement on seeing Marabini.

Preparations for the other 3 tours in Harare are at an advanced stage and already the excitement among his fans has gathered momentum not only in Harare but countrywide and internationally. There is, with no doubt, a high anticipation of a successful tour.

Soon after the Theatre in the Park presentations, the Emarabini hitmaker and his band will perform at the Red Eagle in Ruwa on April 29 before heading to Bar Rouge for the April 30 show. His last part of the tour will be at PJC Restaurant on workers day, May 1.

The ‘One Time’ hitmaker is one of the highly celebrated iconic figures in the creative and cultural industry. To date he has released 10 albums that are still making waves, with his latest release called Xola thrilling the crowd with so much zest.

Marabini seeks to promote Xola album that has the following tracks; Khawuleza, Xola, Thulasizwe, Baba loMama, Skin Colour, Ijazi, Ntombi nto, Bambo lwami, Ndoni yamanzi and uThixo wezimanga. In this album Jeys features upcoming artists and this is part of his philanthropy works where he promotes emerging artists.

Social media platforms are awash with messages surrounding his tour that seeks to express how much Marabini appreciates the love and support he receives from the fans and he has chosen to have a physical meetup with his music lovers in the capital city. The hype is huge, the support is overwhelming the love is abundant, Marabini is forever thankful to his followers for they have always been with him through it all, “come rain or thunder”.
