Jeys Marabini: Inspiring the Next Generation of Musicians for Over Three Decades

Jeys Marabini recently celebrated an incredible milestone—34 years in the music industry. This momentous occasion not only marked his journey filled with highs and lows, driven by passion, but also included the launch of his 11th album, “Inkemenkeme”.

Renowned both locally and internationally, Jeys is celebrated for his smooth, soothing sound that resonates with audiences of all ages. His lyrics convey powerful messages, making his music deeply impactful. To honor his anniversary, Jeys organized a workshop for musicians, featuring the legendary Steve Dyer, who traveled from South Africa to join the festivities.

The Zimbabwe Academy of Music was alive with enthusiastic supporters from Bulawayo and beyond, all eager to witness Jeys’s continued rise. The crowd danced joyfully to vibrant performances by talented artists, including Pastor Barack, Mbeu, Thandy Dhlana, and Mzoe 7, while Steve Dyer captivated the audience with his own performance, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

Jeys expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support he received in preparing for both the celebration and the workshop.
